Inno Setup by default does not set the Start In field on shortcuts its. the company could continue, the maintainer was paid for the work, the free-users had new functionality (and even many years later that tool is still free & open source). If you return True, the wizard will move to the next page if you return False. Some of those developments are made available for everyone to use afterwards, but yeah that isn't necessarily a bad thing no? The purpose of a Splash Screen is to quickly display a beautiful screen while the application fetches the relevant content if any (from network calls/database). In one of the companies I worked, we paid a maintainer of a free open source tool to do some custom developments to the open source project. What command-line arguments are supported by the Windows Setup VS Code uses Inno Setup to create its setup package for Windows. Maybe you can pay a developer to do that? Not sure if that is an option here for the Inno developers?
